This is a view from the window of The Lookout tower along the Poet's Walk in Clevedon, Somerset, England. This look out tower was built circa 1835 by Ferdinand Beeston. It is said to have been used by the Finzel Family sugar importers in the mid 19th century to view sugar ships coming from the West Indies. It was restored in 2006 by the Clevedon Civic Society, Yancec, North Somerset Council, Clevedon Town Council, John Gent and Michael Hale. The lovely view you see is the Clevedon Pier and the shore line of Wales in the distance.
