Spirit of Ecstacy Hood Ornament
This is a fabulous image of the radiator cap or hood ornament on an antique Rolls Royce automobile. This famous hood ornament is called "Spirit of Ecstasy" and some call it "Ellie in her Nightie". It was designed by Charles Robinson Sykes and the model was Eleanor Velasco Thornton who was the secretary and mistress to John Ealter Edward Douglas-Scott-Montagu.
