This picture was taken on the beach in Rye, New Hampshire near Concord Point. It was a cold winter day and the North Atlantic Ocean was calm this particular day as you can see in the photo. It was quite a lovely and peaceful view to soak in just as my quote implies..."A walk on the beach soothes the soul."

A Home in My Heart

One day while walking through a nearby park on a lovely sunny fall day, I looked up to admire the leaves that were changing colors as they always do at this time of the year when I noticed the heart shape opening in the leaves. I adored how it came out and had to add this charming little quote in the middle of this heart made by Mother Nature: "I built you a home in my heart."

Under The Same Moon

This is such a cool picture I took of the full Blood Moon that appeared September 27, 2015. I thought this quote went beautifully with my photo: "We are never too far from each other because we are all under the same moon." On April 15, 2014, there was a total lunar eclipse which was the first of four consecutive total eclipses in a series, known as a tetrad; a second one took place on October 8, 2014, the third one on April 4, 2015 and the remaining one took place on September 27, 2015. It is one of eight tetrads to take place during the 21st century AD. As with most lunar eclipses, the moon appeared red during the April 15 2014 eclipse. The red color is caused by Rayleigh scattering of sunlight through the Earth's atmosphere, the same effect that causes sunsets to appear red.

Feathers Appear When Angels Are Near

One day while I was walking along the beach near my home one day, I saw this lovely pure white feather lying on the sandy ground. This quote always come to mind when I see feathers lying about, esp. white ones. "Feathers appear when Angels are near!".

Snail Family

On a trip down to the Florida Keys, we came across these two charming snails which I assume are related to each other. The little one had climbed on to the back of the larger snail, which I thought was adorable. I love seeing the details of the snails and their shells up close like this. You can see the pattern on their slug like body and the coiled shell and all it's ripples and patterns.

Wasp on Black Eyed Susan Flower

I was able to capture this picture of a wasp resting on a lovely yellow black eyed susan blossom one sunny afternoon. I love the details that you can see of this wasp like the color of the eyes and the transparency of the wings, etc. Very neat to see!
