Fisher Building's Three Story Lobby & Mosiac Wall

This is a view of beautiful vaulted and domed ceiling, chandelier and mosaic artwork in the lobby of the Fisher Building during the Christmas holiday. The lobby is made of various types of marble and granite and the ceiling is beautifully hand painted. On the wall is a lovely mosaic tile artwork with lighted Christmas trees on either side of it along with a large grouping of red poinsettia's. I love how you can see the reflection of the Christmas trees in the highly polished marble floor. The lobby is three stories high and you can see the levels that people can access. The hanging chandelier's are quite lovely and the glass panels has etchings on them. The Fisher Building (built in 1928) is a landmark skyscraper located at 3011 West Grand Boulevard in the heart of the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan. The opulent three-story barrel vaulted lobby is constructed with forty different kinds of marble, decorated by Hungarian artist Geza Maroti, and is highly regarded by architects.
