This is a view of beautiful barrel vaulted ceiling, chandeliers, Christmas trees and poinsettias in the lobby of the Fisher Building during the Christmas holiday. The lobby is made of various types of marble and granite and the ceiling is beautifully hand painted. I love how you can see the reflection of the Christmas trees in the highly polished marble floor. The hanging chandelier's are quite lovely and the glass panels has etchings on them. The Fisher Building (built in 1928) is a landmark skyscraper located at 3011 West Grand Boulevard in the heart of the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan. The opulent three-story barrel vaulted lobby is constructed with forty different kinds of marble, decorated by Hungarian artist Geza Maroti, and is highly regarded by architects.
