This is part of the beautiful landscape of the grounds at Oak Alley Plantation near New Orleans, Louisiana. Oak Alley Plantation is a historic plantation located on the west bank of the Mississippi River and is protected as a National Historic Landmark. This plantation dates back to 1830 and is widely known for it`s double row of southern live oak trees about 800 feet (240 meters) long, planted in the early 18th century long before the present house was built.
