Pink Flamingos And One Gray One
This was a group of pretty pink flamingos and there was one lone gray one in the bunch. Flamingos (or flamingoes) are a type of wading bird in the family Phoenicopteridae. Flamingos often stand on one leg, the other leg tucked beneath the body. Recent research indicates that standing on one leg may allow the birds to conserve more body heat, given that they spend a significant amount of time wading in cold water.

Masonry of Detroit's Michigan Central Station
This is a closeup of some of the masonry work on Detroit's Michigan Central Station. The building began operating as Detroit's main passenger depot in 1913 after the older Michigan Central Station burned on December 26, 1913. It was originally owned and operated by Michigan Central Railroad. On January 6, 1988, the last Amtrak train pulled away from the station after owners decided to close the facility. The station has been featured in several films. The building is of the Beaux-Arts Classical style of architecture, designed by the Warren & Wetmore and Reed and Stem firms who also designed New York City's Grand Central Terminal. The price tag for this 500,000-square-foot building was $15 million when it was built.
