"The Pink Artist"

I read about this wonderful project on another blog and thought this was a fabulous idea! I knew immediately that I definitely wanted to participate in this project! This cause is very near and dear to my heart. My Aunt Loretta was diagnosed with breast cancer about 12 years ago and my dear friend, Shelley, was diagnosed 6 years ago with it, as well. Here is a little information as to what it is all about:

"the pink artist"
is a community of artists joining together
to create one joint art doll to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
When doll is complete, it will be mailed in to Art Doll Quarterly™
before finally being auctioned off on eBay at a later date.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL DIRECTLY BENEFIT CHARITY.

All you have to do is create a 2x2 inch square with a cloth base using your chosen medium in any way you feel inspired to do so for this project! I already have a plan in my head as to how I am going to create my square!

If this sounds like something you would like to learn more about and take part in, please click on "the pink artist" image on the right side of my blog. That will take you to Monica's blog...she is the master mind of this project...and she will tell you all about it, what you have to do and where to mail your square to! I hope you check it out and decide to participate in this! Please note that the deadline to mail your square in is March 1!
