The Mackinac Bridge

This is the Mackinac Bridge that is a suspension bridge spanning the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upper and Lower peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. It was built in 1957 and is the world's 16th-longest in total suspension and the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western hemisphere. The bridge was designed by the engineer David B. Steinman. It is has been nicknamed the Mighty Mac or Big Mac.
