This is a close up view of the iron cross bollard on the top of Church Hill located along the Poet's Walk in Clevedon, Somerset, England. What looks like a cross is actually an iron bollard from the 1930s originally marked the top of the zigzag path (then fenced) and prevented grazing cattle from wandering onto the pathway. You can see the Clevedon Pier and Wales in the background.
