Female Mallard Duck Nesting in Pond

Here is a female Mallard duck that I barely saw one Spring day in a pond near my home in Michigan. She blended in with the tall dried grass so well that I almost missed seeing her there. I believe her nest (clutch) was right there as she laid down in that area for quite a while.
