Full Moon Over the Atlantic Ocean In Rye, New Hampshire

I captured this beautiful full moon over the Northern Atlantic Ocean along a beach located in Rye, New Hampshire near Concord Point. The sky was a mixture of several lovely shades of blue with a hint of pink. It was a chilly evening in December and it was quite calm. Loved how peaceful and tranquil this image turned out.

Close Up of Canada Goose

This is a close up of handsome Canada Goose they I saw swimming in pond near my home in Michigan. The Canada goose (Branta canadensis) is a large wild goose species with a black head and neck, white patches on the face, and a brown body. Like most geese, the Canada goose is primarily herbivorous and normally migratory; it tends to be found on or close to fresh water.

Female Mallard Duck Nesting in Pond

Here is a female Mallard duck that I barely saw one Spring day in a pond near my home in Michigan. She blended in with the tall dried grass so well that I almost missed seeing her there. I believe her nest (clutch) was right there as she laid down in that area for quite a while.

Here is a pair of Mallard ducks that I saw sun bathing one lovely Spring day in Michigan at a pond near my home. Mallards usually form pairs (in October and November in the Northern hemisphere) only until the female lays eggs at the start of nesting season which is around the beginning of spring, so these two have been together for a while now as this picture was taken in April.

Fluttering Leaves

Beautiful Crocus

This is a beautiful purple and white variegated crocus that was blooming on a lovely sunny day. Love the play of the sunlight streaming through the petals showing off the purple veins on the white petals.

Sweet Fluffy Grey Kitten

This is my adorably soft fluffy grey kitten who we named Smokey! What an adorable kitten he was and his sweet little face reminded my of a little bear cub! Every inch of this body is grey...his fur, his adorable nose, his eyes, his lips and his little pads on his paws. What a little cutie pie!

Pink Hydrangea

This is a closeup of a lovely pink hydrangea that was in bloom. I believe this is a lacecap type of hydrangea. Pink hydrangeas have many different meanings, but generally mean, "You are the beat of my heart," as described by the celebrated Asian florist Tan Jun Yong, where he was quoted saying, "The light delicate blush of the petals reminds me of a beating heart, while the size could only match the heart of the sender!"
