Green Heron

This was a beautiful Green Heron that I saw at George Georpe Park's pond located in Clinton Township, Michigan. An interesting fact about Green Herons: They are one of the few species of animal known to use tools. In particular, they commonly use bread crusts, insects, or other items as bait. The bait is dropped onto the surface of a body of water in order to lure fish. When a fish takes the bait, the green heron will then grab and eat the fish. Sunset in St. Thomas

This was my view one lovely evening in St. Thomas's port of Charlotte Amalie. St. Thomas is one of the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea and, together with St. John and Water Island, forms a county and constituent district of the United States Virgin Islands (USVI), an unincorporated territory of the United States. Located on the island is the territorial capital and port of Charlotte Amalie. Watching the sunset here was such a beautiful site to see. Very calm and tranquil as well as inspiring.
